Through his book, Freedomland U.S.A.: More Definitive History, published by Theme Park Press, Virgintino will discuss a trove of recently found documents and other resources along with remembrances shared by more than one hundred employees and park guests.
Bartow-Pell Museum Educator Robin Vernuccio will help us create amazing changing color patterns through the use of kaleidoscopes; a 19th-century invention that enabled optical tricks when turned by the viewer. Workshop participants will make their own kaleidoscope to take home.
